ARkansas summit on African American males (ARSAAM)

We recognize the key role young men play in strengthening our communities and our economy. ArSAAM is a coalition of organizations and community members that come together to address critical issues affecting African American males and find effective, sustainable solutions.

We host annual statewide summits to address critical issues affecting disadvantaged Arkansans and communities to seek sustainable solutions to improve their education and economic outcomes.

In 10 years, 1,000 students have attended to network with professionals from higher education, financial institutions and other nonprofits.

The Colorful Women Summit (CWS) is a statewide coalition of higher education and community organizations that discuss how they can work together to continue to improve the outcomes and opportunities for women of color in Arkansas. The CWS is a one-day experience led by young adults, professionals, and community leaders. The goal is to bring partners together to address critical issues affecting women of color and to seek sustainable solutions
