Harvell howard

Executive Director

Executive Director

Harvell serves as the Executive Director of ADS. He has worked with organizations and communities for more than 15 years, facilitating efforts to bridge educational gaps and build community among culturally diverse people.

Howard worked at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock championing diversity, inclusion and student retention by helping establish an intervention program for African-American students. He also served as the Director of Youth and Community Relations for the Choosing To Excel Organization for many years. A native of Conway, Arkansas, Howard will complete his doctorate in Leadership Studies at UCA this fall.

Britt Johnson

Board Member

Britt has been practicing law since 2007. Currently, he works at Taylor King Personal Injury Lawyers in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was named to the prestigious “Top 40 Under 40” list by the National Trial Lawyers Association in 2012 and 2013.

Britt also serves on the Little Rock Property Assessed Clean Energy Commission and the Little Rock Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin from Howard University in Washington D.C. and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Kesha baoua

Kesha has served as Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer at Hendrix College for the past two years. Previously she worked at Hendrix as Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities. Before that, she spent six years directing the College's Office of Multicultural and International Student Services.

A native of Gum Springs, Arkansas,  Baoua graduated summa cum laude from the Honor's College at the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She continued her studies there to obtain a Master of Science in Training Systems.

Regina Taylor

Board Member

Regina serves as the Chief Community Initiatives Officer for the Arkansas Foodbank. Prior to the foodbank, she served as the Volunteer Experience Director for Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

She is an experienced project and program manager who enjoys working with faith-based organizations and nonprofits to provide guidance on program development, efficiency and effectiveness.

 Regina is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

Jackie Wright

Board Member

Jackie is an attorney at the Arkansas Public Defender Commission after beginning her career as a Public Defender for Pulaski County.

She currently serves as the commissioner for the Conway Housing Authority, and as a board member for several local nonprofits such as the Faulkner County Alliance on Aging and Faulkner County branch of the Arkansas Community Foundation. 

Jackie received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Hendrix College and a law degree from William H. Bowen School of Law. 

Cynda alexander

Board Member

Cynda is the grant writer and a consultant for ADS. She is a technical writer with a very diverse published background. She has written many funded grant proposals, complex user guides for one of the largest sports scoreboard companies in the world, and job-winning executive resumes.

Cynda is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith with a Bachelor of Arts in English and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Master of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing. She has volunteered for the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Pulaksi County for 12 years.


Lloyd Hervey

Lloyd is a Product Design Manager in Chicago, Illinois. He also works with many Fortune 500 companies in several industries from Management Consulting, Retail, Media, Healthcare, and Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) with the primary goal of creating positive experiences for others and having an eye for design.

Originally from Conway, Arkansas, he attended DePaul University in Chicago and received a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems at the University of Central Arkansas.
